My Beautiful Feet
Isaiah 52:7 – How beautiful on the mountain are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!
I have never claimed to have beautiful feet. In fact, I’m not a fan of feet at all. But the Bible says that what we did in Ecuador last week qualifies my feet as beautiful. Wow, what an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the country of Ecuador this week!! I want to personally thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and financial contributions. The communities of Guayaquil and Buena Fe will be eternally changed because of this trip.
Our team ministered in Churches, Schools, Coliseums, street crusades, jungles, banana plantations, under bridges…pretty much anywhere we had the opportunity to minister. The 1st community we ministered in had been fasting and praying for 3 days prior to our arrival. They were hungry not only for physical food but to receive spiritual nourishment from God. I preached 3 services at 3 different locations on the 1st day alone. Many people came to the Lord afterwards and God showed out in a might way. After a 4 hour bus ride we arrived at the 2nd community (Buena Fe). This was the 1st crusade in that city where they had rented the civic coliseum. With around 20 churches involved, I closed the final night by bringing all the local ministers to the front of the stage to be prayed for by their own congregations. After praying for the local pastors, I turned the pastors loose on the crowd. (That’s when things got crazy good) Many people received what they needed that night from God, including 2 people who testified that their poor vision had returned to normal!! We prayed for marriages to be restored, for addictions to be broken and for various healings, too many to list. God answered them all as only HE can. Buena Fe was completely changed.
In our last community, we were in a very dark section of the city. There was open drug use and selling all around us. We set up a stage in the middle of the street and preached for 2 nights to the surrounding community. I was honored to lead 1 drug dealer specifically to the Lord. He would not come out of his gated courtyard for fear of being seen by the surrounding drug dealers but he desperately wanted to receive Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He asked for a sign from God to let him know that this was what he was supposed to do. I told him that God had sent our team 3000 miles and set up the crusade right in front of his home!! We could have been set up in a different location in all 4 directions but God specifically set us up in his front yard. The Dealer broke down and received Jesus into his heart. I will try to attach a photo of this. Our trip was not without obstacles but with every test is an opportunity for a Testimony!! We were victorious on every level no matter what the enemy tried to throw at us.
There’s no place like home and I’m proud to be an American but I can’t help but leave part of my heart in Ecuador. Such a beautiful place and beautiful people. Now it’s back to changing the World one spine at a time at good ol’ Trinity Chiropractic. It’s an honor to be able to help so many people both physically and Spiritually. I’m not going to show you my feet, but trust me, they’re beautiful in God’s eyes.
